Campbell Intermediate Music Tour 2017

Edmonton - Thursday April 27 - Saturday April 29, 2017

The Campbell Grade 10 Music Ensembles will be traveling to Edmonton Alberta to perform at festivals, participate in workshops, and perform at public venues. Performance tours are essential educational elements of the Campbell Music Department.   All members of the above ensembles are expected to be part of “the team” on this excursion.  This will be a valuable and rewarding experience for all involved.

Attend a Live Theatre Performance

Clinics with internationally recognized choral and band clinicians at the Victoria School for the Arts

Performances at local schools and public venues in Edmonton including a performance with the world-renowned choir Kokopelli!


We are planning to travel by Moose Mountain Coach Buses to Edmonton.


We will be staying at a local hotel in Edmonton.


The hotel will provide breakfast and the cost of dinner on Thursday, and Friday evenings is included. Students will be responsible for lunch on Friday and Saturday as well as meals enroute to and from Edmonton on the buses.


The total cost for this trip including accommodation, two dinners, sightseeing activities, and chaperone costs will be  $275.00/student.  CAMPA will be covering the cost of ground transportation and clinician costs.


In order to provide this opportunity and keep costs down for individual students, it is important that every member of the Campbell Music Family support the CAMPA group and individual fundraisers in some way. 


Working at the Campbell Bingo's is a great individual fundraiser that benefits every family directly.  Please contact Maureen Pennington at if you are interested in earning money at upcoming bingos!   Each person earns $50.00 toward his or her individual TRP fundraising account.  Therefore, if you have 4 people working one bingo for you, you can earn $200.00 toward your fundraising account in one bingo evening!

A detailed itinerary will be provided to students at least one month prior to the trip.   This itinerary will include specific information about the activities and performances planned for each day plus contact for the parents.  Specific information regarding what to bring, and behavioral expectations will also be outlined at that time.  Students will be expected to follow their itinerary very carefully!


To make the accounting process more manageable for CAMPA and to ensure that tour expenses are paid to our suppliers on time, CAMPA is requesting on line payments on the dates noted below.  If you are unable to make online payments please contact to make alternate arrangements.
